Aggressive or Dangerous Pets Policy
In accordance with Puerto Rico’s Animal Welfare Act (Ley 154-2008) and other applicable local regulations, Pet Sitter Puerto Rico prioritizes the safety and well-being of our staff, clients, and their pets. We do not provide services to pets that exhibit aggressive or violent behavior, including but not limited to pets with a history of biting, attacking other animals or people, or displaying unmanageable aggression.
Clients must fully disclose any known behavioral issues, particularly those related to aggression or dangerous tendencies, prior to booking services. Failure to disclose this information may result in the immediate termination of services, refusal of future bookings, and/or additional liability for any damages or injuries caused.
In accordance with local laws, Pet Sitter Puerto Rico reserves the right to refuse service to any pet at any time if we determine, at our sole discretion, that the pet poses a threat to our sitters, other animals, or the general public.
Terms & Conditions:
I understand that I am solely responsible for any harm or damage caused by my Pet while in the care of Pet Sitter Puerto Rico or while participating in walks, pet sitting, or related activities. I assume all risks, known and unknown, associated with these services.
I confirm that my Pet is healthy, up to date on vaccinations, and have not shown aggressive behavior toward people or other animals. I acknowledge that, despite supervision, minor injuries such as scratches or cuts may occur during play or interactions with other pets. In the event of an emergency, if I cannot be reached, I authorize Pet Sitter Puerto Rico to seek immediate veterinary care for my Pet. I agree to be financially responsible for any and all related costs.
I release and hold harmless Pet Sitter Puerto Rico, its staff, and representatives from any liability, claims, or damages arising from my Pets’ participation in services, including those resulting from negligence. I agree to indemnify Pet Sitter Puerto Rico against any claims related to my Pet.
I certify that I have read, understand, and agree to the terms of this agreement. I also acknowledge that Pet Sitter Puerto Rico reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services if my Pet is deemed unsuitable for participation.
